Crozet Trails Day will be held on October 16th. We need volunteers to coordinate events, help plan activities, and attend the celebration to provide information to community members.

Parade Crew
Small but mighty, once again.
It was great to walk in the parade on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, behind the majestic Smokey the Bear, and have the chance to smile and wave our trail tools at the hoards of viewers.

Crozet Trails Day #1
Join us in celebrating and encouraging a Crozet unified by safe pedestrian and bike connections. Crozet merchants are asked to participate in this community-wide event, making it a fun and educational day for all of the Crozet community.More information coming soon.

The September meeting minutes ar posted on the tab above. Please read.
We need marchers for the Fireman's Parade this Saturday. Let me know if you are interested or just show up at Crozet Elementary School at 3:15 on Saturday afternoon.
Crozet Trails Day is October 16th. We would like this to be a community celebration and awareness event. If you would like to be involved in the planning and execution of this party, let me know. We could definately use the help.
The CTC business cards are here! And they look awesome!! Thanks to T&N printing in Charlottesville for their generous sponsorship of our efforts!
Sept. 25th is the next trail workday at Grayrock. 9am-noon.

Thank you, Grayrock.
We had a great work day today at Grayrock. It is a work in progress and will take a few more days (and loads of rock) to complete, but it is already a vast improvement.
Thank you to the Grayrock residents who came out to help, David, John, Mark, Barb, Sandi, and others, plus a whole passel of terrific little helpers! And thank you Jacques Gates of the Marjorie Adams real estate team for the much-needed pizza lunch afterward. And, as always, thanks to the fantastic and dedicated CTCrew!
We'll let you know when the next workday is as soon as we figure it out.

A brief narrative on the CTC/ County vision for the Crozet Trails and Greenway system (Elizabeth)
Jessica Mauzy- can compile all the parts and pieces, edit the text, and put it into flier format for your review and approval.
Alex is going to investigate printing costs and sponsorship.
Tim T. is going to talk to the CCA about donations for the CTC going through the CCA.
Other stuff:
Tim, Dan M., and Jessica will work on the letter in support of corridor acquisition.
Dan M. and Jessica (and whoever else wants to assist) will do a transit survey of the Grayrock trail area
Jim, and anyone else, will send me links and other information to put on the blog.
Dan M. will print 3-4 Crozet Master Plan Greenways maps at 11x17 format (laminated?)
Dan M. will select a day in the fall as a potential Crozet Trails Day, with the approval of the CTC and CCA.
